Alya is following her lifelong passion to become a singer and performer, and she is equally at home on the stage as she is in front of the camera.
Dancing and singing since the age of 3, from an early age she had an amazing knack of being able to copy choreography and would spend hours channelling Beyonce, Ciara and Les Twins. In 2016 during a competition in which she beat thousands of formally trained children, Kris Fade endorsed her publicly, announcing that performing was her future.
Alya’s debut…
Citing Beyonce as her ultimate influence, Alya writes and performs her own music and under the umbrella of Salprodutionz studio and is signed to Universal.
Her debut single Hung Up was launched by Universal Music MENA in November 2020 and the accompanying video, which was produced by Ravenscar Films, amassed more than ONE MILLION views on her youtube channel.
Dubai’s Gen-Z icon …
With more than 60,000 followers on Instagram, Alya has amassed a global fan base from countries as diverse as Brazil, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and UAE and she is the subject of more than 200 fan pages.
She is currently the face of American RagCie in the Middle East and was involved in a huge Dubai Tourism-backed activation at the flagship Middle East store in Dubai Mall in mid- December. She was also the face of a collaboration between Fendi and Savoir Flair; and she has exclusively collaborated with The Entertainer on its relaunch.
She has appeared in media outlets such as Cosmopolitan Middle East, Savoir Flair, The National, Friday magazine and A&Eworld.
What’s next for Alya?
Alya’s next single Coco Kisses is an English/Khaleejy song and will be released in January. Fadetha, an Afro/English/Khaleejy song in which she featured shall also be released in early 2021.
